April Carlisle Joins Coca-Cola as Shopper Marketing VP

Former Leo Burnett Group/Arc Worldwide senior vice president April Carlisle joined Coca-Cola North America on April 9 as vice president, shopper marketing, national retail sales.

Carlisle now leads the shopper marketing team for Coca-Cola's national retail sales customers, according to Diane Wallace, vice president, retail marketing and strategy, national retail sales. Carlisle reports to Wallace.

Previously, Carlisle was the senior vice president of global shopper marketing at Leo Burnett Group/Arc Worldwide. In that role, Carlisle was instrumental in the development of business growth across key CPG clients and served as retail strategist on all global and North America new business opportunities. 

Carlisle was the shopper marketing reputation lead for the agency, participating in numerous speaking engagements. Prior to joining the agency, Carlisle spent 24 years at Procter & Gamble, serving in a variety of sales and marketing roles.

Carlisle serves on the Google Shopper Marketing Council and is a distinguished faculty member of the Path to Purchase Institute. She was named multiple times to Shopper Marketing magazine's "Who's Who in Shopper Marketing" and "Who's Who in Shopper Marketing Agencies."
