Ace Hardware Implements Ship-to-Store Program

Ace Hardware offers a ship-to-store program enabled by GSI Commerce. The new Ace ship-to-store program supports the retailer's initiative to "virtually extend" its offline stores' product assortment. Ace's ship-to-store program allows customers to order and purchase a product online and have it shipped to the nearest retail outlet for pick up. The GSI Commerce system enables Ace Hardware to use its store distribution network to fulfill individual customer orders. The company offers free shipping on these orders and allows merchandise returns to the retail outlet where the order was picked up.
