Shopper2Buyer Launches ‘BuyPoint’

New York-based Shopper2Buyer (S2B) launched “BuyPoint,” a shopper content and media tool that fuses purchase data with in-store planning intelligence. Powered by purchase panel and survey data from consumer insights company InfoScout, San Francisco, the new tool enables marketers to develop optimal in-store media plans informed by a combination of shopper profiles, purchase behavior, surveys and store profiles. The purchase panel data combined with actual shopper surveys is used to clarify the “who, how and why” people are buying today. BuyPoint then overlays the shopper purchase data with store profile and historical performance data from S2B’s proprietary retail destination directory to identify the most effective media placements at the store level.

Toronto-based Unata recently released a new online circular dubbed “eCircular 2.0” for grocery retailers. The new e-circular maintains all of the branding and character of a print circular through adjustable tile sizes and custom imagery, while allowing retailers like Lowes Foods to incorporate content offered in a print circular – some previously impossible to integrate online – including complex promotions, product collections and sponsored placements. Through integration with Lowes Foods’ loyalty program, the online circular is automatically 1-to-1 personalized for each guest, displaying relevant deals based on their individual purchase history.
