Samsung Aims for 360 Degrees of Green

As the designer of eco-friendly consumer electronics andtelecommunications products and components, Samsung's green management policysets high environmental standards for operations, design and productionprocesses. This includes reducing energy consumption, choosing more efficientpackaging and transportation, and offering customers recycling programs.

In the Laundry Room Samsung's WF448 front-loading washerearned the CES Innovations 2009 Eco-Design Award. It entered consumer homes asthe world's first 4.5-cubic-foot, front-loading washer, and it also features acycle option that saves 92 percent on energy compared to hot watersanitization.
