2011 Tech Trends Report
10/17/2011
CGT and Gartner Inc. team to bring you research on the latest technology and business process trends in the consumer goods industry.
The results of the 2011 survey signal that a little more optimism is in the air compared to the 2010 edition. Case in point: consumer goods companies are cautiously growing IT budgets rather than trying to recover what was lost in years prior. Areas such as ERP, CRM, BI and web analytics are getting more dollars. And in supply chain, improving internal coordination and corporate agility by any "practical" means necessary takes top priority.
In the full 2011 Tech Trends Report, Gartner analysts will dive deeper into each of these areas, and you'll also get a more rounded view of what to expect from emerging market influences, like the mobile consumer.
