Aveeno, Smartwater Partner at Walgreens
Johnson & Johnson's Aveeno joined with Coca-Cola Co.'s Smartwater to deploy a "hydrate + glow" campaign at Walgreens that promises 5,000 Balance Rewards points with purchase of $20 in products from the two brands.
Walgreens introduced the offer, which is valid July 1-28, with a feature in its July coupon book. A feature in the retailer's July 15 circular also promoted the offer along with special pricing on one-liter Smartwater bottles (two for $4) and a "buy one, get one half off" offer on Aveeno skin- or baby-care SKUs.
Dedicated beauty department endcaps promote the offer, stocking the eligible items side by side (Smartwater on the left) and carrying a "summer essentials" message on side panels alongside the brands' logos.
In addition to communicating the "hydrate + glow" theme, endcap headers depict actress Jennifer Aniston, a spokesperson for both brands.
