Urban Skin Rx Founder to Speak at CGSM 2019

By Jacqueline Barba - 08/26/2019
Rachel Roff Urban Skin Rx
Rachel Roff Urban Skin Rx founder and CEO

Rachel Roff, founder and chief executive officer of clinical skin care startup Urban Skin Rx, will join Path to Purchase Institute editor-in-chief Peter Breen for a one-on-one discussion about the brand’s formula for success during the 16th annual Consumer Goods Sales & Marketing Summit, to be held Oct. 14-16 in Boston.

Roff will cover everything from her launch in 2006 of Urban Skin Solutions Medspa (one of the nation’s first medical spas for ethnic and darker skin tones), to starting a digital native brand, to expanding into retail distribution through CVS pharmacy, Target and Ulta. She will share how her vision and strategy for the brand has grown since launching in 2010, how these changes have affected the company's direction, and what she thinks will come next.

Urban Skin Rx exclusively caters to multicultural and melanin-rich skin types and tones, with a focus on Millennial women. While Roff lacks melanin herself, her skincare line and spa were born from her background as a licensed aesthetician who noticed the lack of products and services available to people of color and the common skin concerns they experience.

The summit will take place Oct. 14-16 at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston. For more information about the session and conference, visit the official event website.
