P&G Brings Football to BJ's Again
For the second year in a row, Procter & Gamble activated its official sponsorship of the National Football League to stage a sweepstakes at BJ's Wholesale Club.
Consumers entered from Dec. 26, 2017, to Jan. 24 on pgfootballsweeps.com, which redirects to a dedicated microsite operated by sweeps administrator ProCamps, Cincinnati.
One winner was awarded a pair of tickets to this year’s Super Bowl along with a $4,000 Visa gift card to cover travel expenses. Last football season, P&G staged a similar account-specific sweeps that awarded three winners a pair of tickets to either a New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, or New York Giants home game.
In stores, Head & Shoulders and Old Spice pallet displays positioned side-by-side depicted a “Go Fresh or Go Home” message and promoted the sweeps.
In addition, BJ's held three meet-and-greet events with former NFL players Justin Tuck, Zach Thomas and Troy Brown at clubs in East Rutherford, NJ; Hollywood, FL; and Northborough, MA. Facebook activity supported.
