Converge Digital Retail Display System
June20, Hayward, California, is expanding on pilot programs for its Converge digital retail display system that are testing in Home Depot, Sam’s Club and Staples Canada locations with a launch in 150 Target stores alongside Verizon Wireless to showcase phones. Designed as a sliding tablet retail display, Converge enables shoppers in-store to learn more about a product by watching videos, get reviews and even download content to a mobile device to take home. Through the interactive display, shoppers can also purchase a product online. At the same time, the display is gathering data based on a shopper’s engagement with the display that brands and retailers can use to hone content.
