Beverage Brands Pernod Ricard, Coca-Cola Hire Senior Leaders to Accelerate Data-Driven Growth

Pernod Ricard and The Coca-Cola Co. have each named senior executives who will be tasked with driving data-enabled business growth.

Pernod Ricard has named Caroline Connan its chief data officer. In a LinkedIn post, Connan said she will contribute to the group's data and AI journey, helping to build strong data foundations and turning data into business value at scale.

She will report to global CIO Hélène Chaplain Lambert.

Connan joins Pernod Ricard from Forvia, a global automotive technology supplier, where she most recently served as group chief data officer and digital transformation lead. 

During her 12-plus years at the company, Connan drove enterprise-wide data and integrations, with a focus on generative applications, digital governance and compliance adoption. She also led large-scale financial and operational process transformations, including centralizing European accounting systems while adapting ERP functionality to optimize closing cycles, according to LinkedIn

Coca-Cola's Continued Data Push

Coca-Cola has named Sachin Vaya its vice president of data for its North America business.

With more than 15 years of experience driving large-scale data and AI initiatives for major consumer goods leaders — including Nike, PepsiCo and Kraft Foods in various data and analytics roles — Vaya has a history of turning complex consumer data into business growth.

Across these roles, he spearheaded the implementation of scalable AWS big data architectures, AI/ML analytical capabilities and critical privacy frameworks to optimize digital retail, marketplace supply chains and consumer personalization. Additionally, he led global reporting and analytics rollouts for enterprise demand forecasting and supply chain modernization programs, according to LinkedIn
