Arc'teryx Embeds AI-Enabled End-to-End Planning
Arc’teryx, which manufactures high-performance outerwear, equipment and footwear, is overhauling its digital planning processes.
The company is moving toward data-led and consumer-centric operations as it scales its growth across direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. It is working with enterprise AI company o9, implementing end-to-end planning capabilities across areas such as merchandise financing, demand forecasting, store allocation and replenishment, supply chain management and integrated business processes.
By upgrading these capabilities, Arc’teryx expects to optimize its inventory management and align planning decisions across the business to more quickly react to changes in demand.
“Getting the right product to the right place at the right time is fundamental to how we operate," Matt Ferrari, SVP supply chain at Arc’teryx, said in a statement.
He said the integration will give the company the planning foundation it needs to scale with discipline as it grows and without losing the precision its retail partners and consumers expect.
Arc’teryx is a Canadian company based in the Coast Mountains. Its products are distributed in more than 160 branded stores and more than 2,400 retail locations worldwide.
