Howard Friedman has been named executive VP and COO for Post Holdings, a new role for the No. 94 consumer goods company.
Friedman, who will serve on Post Holdings’ executive management team and report to president and CEO Robert Vitale, will work with each Post businesses to drive better collaboration, cost reduction and revenue opportunities across the portfolio. He’ll also manage long-tail projects and support each business with respect to process improvement, M&A targeting, and synergy evaluation and delivery.
Friendman joined the St. Louis-headquartered company in 2018 from The Kraft Heinz Company and is currently president and CEO of Post Consumer Brands. His former role will be assumed by Nico Catoggio, who’s joining Post from Boston Consulting Group, where he serves as managing director and senior partner.
Catoggio began his career at Unilever, and advises consumer products companies on demand generation, organizational design and go-to-market strategies. He has advised both Post Holdings and Post Consumer Brands for several years.
These new roles are expected to be effective in September, prior to the company’s fiscal year start on Oct. 1.
The company also recently named Claudine Patel as its new chief marketing officer of Post Consumer Brands.
